The City of Flowood invites everyone to attend their FREE, annual Flowood Family Festival. Free concert and fun for all to enjoy!
The Flowood Family Festival returns to Liberty Park on May 16 and will feature contemporary Christian music artist, Jeremy Camp, as the headliner. Known for his heartfelt lyrics and blend of worship-driven anthems and rock-influenced sound, Camp has inspired audiences around the world for more than two decades with songs like “No Survivors” and “Getting Started.” With over 6.5 million albums sold, 45 No. 1 singles, five GMA Dove Awards, four ASCAP Songwriter of the Year Awards, and a GRAMMY nomination, Camp is one of the most influential voices in contemporary Christian music.
Award-winning Christian band Big Daddy Weave will take the stage ahead of Camp at 5:45 p.m., bringing their signature mix of powerful worship songs and uplifting messages to the festival crowd. With fan-favorite songs like “Redeemed” and “Let It Begin,” the group has become a staple in contemporary Christian music and will be a highlight of the evening’s lineup.
Since 1999, the City of Flowood has hosted the Flowood Family Festival, an outdoor concert that kicks off the summer season with live music, kids’ activities, fair food, fireworks, and more. Free admission is made possible by the City of Flowood with the support of Flowood Parks and Recreation sponsors and Visit Mississippi.
In celebration of America’s 250th anniversary, this year’s festival will also feature a special Flowood flyover and an armed forces recognition to honor those who serve.
The festival will open at 3 p.m. with an armed forces flyover as well as space jumps and activities for kids, food vendors from local Flowood restaurants, and live music from Light of Mine. A fireworks finale will follow Camp’s performance, which begins at 7:30 p.m.
