Since 1999, the City of Flowood has hosted the Flowood Family Festival, an outdoor concert that kicks off the summer season with live music, kid's activities, fair food, fireworks, and more. The festival is always free and brings in travelers from all over to join in family-friendly fun right here in Flowood.

Come cheer on the Blondes and Brunettes teams at Jackson Preparatory School Saturday, May 10 at 4 PM! After the game, join us to celebrate one team's victory at Hal and Mal's! Blondes vs Brunettes is an organized flag football game played by young professional women to help tackle Alzheimer's. All funds raised by Blondes vs. Brunettes events benefit the care, support, advocacy and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association Mississippi Chapter.
