What's Going On
Whether you’re a kid or still a kid at heart, Flowood has fantastic festivals, exciting events, and outstanding opportunities for fun every season of the year!
Celebrate America’s traditions at the FREE National Folk Festival in Jackson — three days of music, dance, crafts, parades, family fun, and diverse foods.
Play, compete, and connect at central Mississippi's largest pickleball courts. Featuring 18 newly constructed, lighted courts, this outdoor facility is free to the public on a first-come, first-serve basis. For availabilities and tournaments, click below.
Free live music in Flowood available every Thursday night at 7 PM in the Missy Sippi Rooftop Bar of Sheraton Flowood The Refuge Hotel & Conference Center
Since 1999, the City of Flowood has hosted the Flowood Family Festival, an outdoor concert that kicks off the summer season with live music, kid's activities, fair food, fireworks, and more. The festival is always free and brings in travelers from across the South to join in family-friendly fun right here in Flowood.
Meadowbrook Church invites you to our Annual Trunk or Treat—a family-friendly community tradition filled with decorated trunks, candy, games, food, and a costume contest! This year, we’re excited to host the event at our new location: 3720 Flowood Drive, Flowood, MS. Join us on Sunday, October 26, from 4–6 PM for an evening of safe, festive fun. Admission is free and open to the public. For more information, please contact Mrs. Jennifer Blake at jennifer@meadowbrook.org.
