When:  Saturday, April 27^th,  2013

Where:  The course is a flat, fast one which begins on Liberty Road in Flowood.  Runners and walkers will utilize the new paved walking path which offers participants safety during the race.  Parking will be available at the Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency parking lot located at 4400 Lakeland Drive (formerly known as Wilson Mazda).

Registration: Pre-register online at www.msora.org or by mail, postmarked no later than Saturday, April 13, 2013. Race day registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and concludes at 7:45 a.m. Race packets can be picked up Friday, April 26 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.  and 4:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. at StinkyFeet Athletics located at 153 Ridgeway, Suite C, Flowood, MS or on-site (MORA 4400 Lakeland Drive) at registration on race day.   

Entry Fees: Pre-registered fee for individuals: $20 – 8K Run / Walk;  

After April 13: $25 – 8K Run / Walk;

Team Entry Fees: 

All teams must be pre-registered.  Team fee is $15 / person.  Minimum of 2 people per team and maximum of 10 people.  All members of teams must commit to raising $100 / person or $500 / team. 

Race Amenities:  8K Run / Walk participants will receive a “Racing for Donation 8k” short sleeve tech shirt, refreshments, and door prizes. Shirts guaranteed for first 300 8K Run / Walk registered participants. Extra “Racing for Donation 8k” shirts will be available for sale while supplies last. Post-race events will be held at the Mississippi Organ Recovery Agency parking lot.   Rain or shine event.  No refunds.

Awards & Age Groups: 8K Run and 8k Walk: Overall, male and female 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 & over.  Overall running team.  Overall walking team.  Overall fundraising team.

Race Day Schedule – Saturday, April 27: Late Registration begins at 7:00 a.m.

8:00 a.m. – 8K Run begins; 8:05 a.m. – 8K Walk begins;

Free picnic, space jumps, donor ceremony immediately following end of race.
