Jackson Preparatory School in Flowood, MS has an immediate opening for a General Maintenance Employee. The qualified individual must possess knowledge and/or have a strong willingness to learn some of the responsibilities listed below.
 
Responsibilities will include:

• General repair and building maintenance. This includes some handyman repair, carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance.
• General grounds repair. This includes mowing, trimming, weeding, and some landscaping duties.
• Custodial housekeeping. This includes janitorial duties, cleaning restrooms, windows, pulling trash, and sweeping and mopping floors.

• Must possess a general knowledge and ability to use hand and power tools, and lawn equipment, and have a strong willingness to learn new things.
• Must possess a valid MS driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalency certificate.
• Must be able to lift 50 - 75 lbs., climb ladders, and work on roofs.
• Must be able to follow directions and work as a team.
